DESCRIPTION

Heavy Duty Bucket perfect for all types of applications
The Star Industry Heavy Duty Skid Steer Bucket is built to last. It’s constructed with extra heavy-duty steel, fully welded seams and reinforced hat section and side blades to strengthen and protect bucket sides. The bucket’s bottom is set close to the ground for level ‘back dragging’ (landscapers love it!).
  1. Strong hat section: provides unyielding strength across the entire top of bucket.
  2. Steel side blades: strengthens and protects bucket sides.
  3. Seams Fully welded: continuous weld inside and outside of shell seams provides greater strength and longer life.
  4. Low Profile design: operator can see the leading edge from the seat. Other profiles are also available.
  5. Bevelled hard carbon steel punched blade: on leading edge ½” x 6” or ¾” x 6” depending on bucket width.
  6. Buckets designed to fit each brand of loader: even though all new skid-steer loaders use a universal quick-tach they require different bucket profiles for proper operation. Star buckets are built to match your specific make & model of skid-steer loader.
  7. Strong Universal Quick-Tach: constructed of 3/8” plate steel to stand up to the new more powerful skid-steer loaders.
  8. Load Transfer Heavy (½” x 3”) scuff bars: three to five bars, depending on width, reinforce bucket bottom and protect from excessive wear.
  9. Integrated Safety Steps
  10. 5-year warranty - made in USA

Available options

  • Punched blade with bolt-on-blade: The reversible ?” x 8” bolt-on-blade gives 3 times the wear
  • Heavy-duty teeth: Features ‘pin-on’ series 23 teeth that measure 2¼ “across the point
  • Side Cutters: optional bolt-on

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our products and services

Explore our wide selection of high-quality skid steer attachments designed for performance and durability. We partner with trusted manufacturers to provide reliable attachments for a variety of applications. Our knowledgeable team is here to help you find the right equipment for your machine and job requirements.

Most modern full-size skid steer attachments are built with a universal quick attach system, allowing them to connect with nearly any brand of skid steer loader on the market. This standard design makes it easy to switch between attachments from different manufacturers.

If your machine does not have a universal quick attach system, or if you are purchasing attachments for a tractor or another type of equipment, we can help. We offer quick attach adapters that allow your machine to safely connect to a wide range of attachments.

Most modern skid steer loaders are equipped with auxiliary hydraulics that power attachments requiring hydraulic flow. These hydraulic lines typically connect to the machine through couplers located near the loader arms.

The type and number of hydraulic couplers can vary depending on the machine. Attachments that require low hydraulic flow, such as standard brush cutters, typically use two half-inch couplers. Machines with high-flow capability may include additional couplers and a case drain line for more demanding attachments.

When purchasing a hydraulic attachment, it is important to ensure that the attachment’s hydraulic requirements match your skid steer’s operating range. For example, grapples and backhoe attachments usually require low flow, while larger brush cutters and forestry attachments often require high-flow hydraulics.

Some skid steer attachments use electrically actuated controls combined with hydraulic components. For example, certain grading blades use electrical switches in the cab to activate hydraulic valves that control features such as folding wings.

If an attachment requires electrical controls, it is easiest when your skid steer is equipped with an external electrical harness. Since electrical harness systems can vary by manufacturer, we recommend contacting our team to confirm compatibility before ordering.

If your skid steer does not have an external electrical harness, we can often provide a controller that connects to your machine’s 12-volt power source or battery. This allows you to operate attachments that require electrical controls safely and efficiently.

Safety should always be a top priority when operating skid steer loader attachments. At Heavy Equip Tech, we often hear from customers who accidentally damage the glass door on their skid loader when using attachments such as forestry mulchers, brush cutters, or post drivers. This usually happens when the potential impact of debris on the machine’s cab is not fully considered before purchasing the attachment.

When shopping for skid steer attachments, it is important to research the equipment thoroughly or consult with a customer support specialist to ensure proper compatibility and safe operation. Certain attachments that can throw rocks, wood debris, or other materials require additional safety precautions.

It’s also common for operators to have a short learning period as they become familiar with a new attachment. During this time and throughout the life of your equipment, our team is always available to provide guidance, answer questions, and help you operate your attachment safely and efficiently.

At Heavy Equip Tech, we remain committed to supporting our customers long after the purchase is complete.

Yes, financing options are available to help make purchasing new equipment easier and more manageable. Whether you are starting a new construction business, expanding an established operation, or purchasing your first skid steer attachment, HeavyEquipTech can help you find the right financing solution.

HeavyEquipTech has partnered with APPROVE to provide customized financing options designed to fit your unique business needs. These flexible financing programs allow you to acquire the equipment you need while preserving your cash flow.

We are committed to making the buying experience simple and efficient, ensuring that your equipment orders are handled smoothly from start to finish.

When you purchase an attachment from HeavyEquipTech, you can expect reliable products backed by strong manufacturer warranties. We work with trusted manufacturers that stand behind the quality and durability of their equipment.

Most skid steer attachments come with a one-year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase. Certain components such as cutting edges, hydraulic cylinders, and piston motors may have different warranty periods depending on the manufacturer.

If a warranty issue occurs, replacement parts are often shipped quickly—many times as soon as the next business day, depending on availability. Our team is always available to assist you with warranty support and help ensure your equipment stays up and running.
